01 Assignment 1 First Post

 

In this diptych I want viewers to understand the realism between things we see in our everyday lives.  For example; when comparing the two photos, you notice that pictures/signs, etc. Are usually over exaggerated. As you can see in the left photo (self portrait) I look awkward and uncomfortable putting myself in that position. But in the right photo the figure looks natural and we can tell that they are walking. In order for us humans to understand signs with pictures; things need to be oversimplified in order for us to understand them.
